About Totton
Located in Hampshire just south of the M27, Totton and Eling is a small town close to the city of Southampton on the eastern edge of the New Forest. Totton claimed to be the largest village in England until it was made a town in 1974.
Totton is at the start of the Test Way long distance footpath running to Inkpen Beacon in Berkshire. Totton railway station is a commutable station, on the South Western Main Line, with links to Southampton, London Waterloo, Bournemouth and Poole, and it is run by South Western Railway.
